Skywatch - Coming in

An unusual sight in our skies lately, due to the volcanic ash cloud grounding most of the UK flights. This one did make it into Edinburgh Airport.
See how the skies of the world are looking this week at Skywatch Friday.

Hi Jacqui, we've obviously been sitting down to do our Skywatch at the same time! Is it raining with you just now? Time to draw the curtains and shut out the grey skies tonight.

For the past week planes have been taking off from Edinburgh airport over the city rather than to the west - have you noticed that?

Terrific capture, Jacqui! Love that blue, blue sky and lovely clouds. That volcanic ash really messed up the airways, that's for sure! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

Exciting spring sky that invites to fly far away… can't go on exotic holidays until our little one is a bit older anyway, so volcanic ash is not a problem for us..
Beautiful shot!
