They seem as one, the boy and the rooster, too. Grownups seem more squeamish about things like live chickens, but not children. He is learning in a fun way, and he looks proud to be holding him. The smile is genuine, he is as happy as he is cute!
The hen whisperer...I love it, takes me back to memories from my grandson's childhood as I would see him running past my kitchen window yelling...grandpa...shoot the rooster!!! Wonder what the lil' heathen did to deserve such a chase...boys will be boys!
Oh this is so sweet. Love the concept! That hen doesn't look too happy about getting put in that bucket, though. And I totally love the "blueberries" below. Sometimes the anticipation is almost the best part of gardening.
